Craft Brewery Profile: Stoneface Brewing Company
If you live in New England, there’s a good chance you’re familiar with the Stoneface Brewing Company, as you can find cans and bottles of some of their most popular carefully crafted options in package stores, restaurants and bars from Maine to Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Massachusetts included.
You can see how it all comes together and taste some of your favorites in the tasting room Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. On your way out, check out Stoneface Brewing’s variety of Stoneface-branded beer glasses available for purchase, including tulip, teku, pint, Imperial pint and aluminum pint glasses.
What’s on Tap?
Whether you fancy something light, dark or somewhere in between, there’s bound to be something to your particular taste at Stoneface Brewing Company. For the lighter side, consider the Pull Start, a crisp blonde ale with notes of ripe fruit and honeydew, dry hopped with German Hull Melon hops.
If you prefer something darker, try a Stoneface Porter, dark but smooth, with chocolate malt and roasted barley. IPA fans should be sure to try Stoneface’s signature IPA, Blip, a dry hopped IPA featuring Mosaic, Columbus and Simcoe hops. There’s lots more to try here, including the Steinhaken, an amber-colored Munich-style Dunkel; Stoneface’s Kolsch, with Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malts and a smooth finish; and Berliner Weisse with Raspberry, a sweet and sour German ale with a dry finish.
Make Sure to Catch…
…their huge taproom, where you can enjoy carefully chosen music selections with whichever Stoneface Brewing favorites are on tap. The brewery also has amazingly mouth-watering pub snacks like steak and cheese egg rolls with mushroom, onion, miso ketchup and sriracha; hand cut fries; mushroom poutine; pork tacos; shrimp and grits; burgers; barbeque; and more.
If you prefer to subtract rather than add calories to your beer experience, look out for one of Stoneface Brewery’s Barre and Soul Pop-ups, where you can work up a sweat and then cool down with a great Stoneface ale.
